KEYNOTE SPEAKER - SARAH DOUGLAS

Sarah Douglas is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing in Santa
Barbara. Sarah attended the School of Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary, where
she received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. She has been in
Private Practice since 2016 and prior to this, worked as a therapist in local settings
including Hope Counseling Center, the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, Goleta Union
School District, and Domestic Violence Solutions of Santa Barbara, where she counseled
women and children transitioning from situations of domestic violence. Sarah continues
to serve women who have experienced domestic violence and is a referral resource for
the California Victim Compensation Board, overseen by the Santa Barbara County
District Attorney’s office. When she is not meeting with clients, Sarah enjoys spending
time with her husband and their two sons, walking her dog, going to the beach,
attending her sons’ various sporting events, and getting coffee with friends.
