Mayra

"I tried taking college [English and Civics] classes but did not feel comfortable. Then I heard about Immigrant Hope and my husband and I started attending. From the beginning, we felt like it was a place of blessing and that the teacher was instilling confidence in the students."

Rosario

Rosario fought Covid-19 for 3 months, spending time in the ICU. Like many Covid-19 survivors, the virus still affects him. Since recovering, he has struggled with short-term memory loss. Having studied for months leading up to his naturalization test, this short-term memory loss felt devastating and added to Rosario’s nerves. Isabel and one of our interns, Brianna, prayed with Rosario the day before his test. They prayed that God would give Rosario an immigration officer with a kind and understanding heart, which He did! Now, Rosario can proudly say he is a U.S. Citizen and he gives all thanks to God!

Ismelda

One of our wonderful clients, Ismelda, holding her certificate of citizenship. She said she felt like the Lord had an angel in the room with her during her naturalization test and interview. Thank you, Jesus, for making a way for Ismelda to become a U.S. Citizen!
